This podcast covers Lesson Four of The Whole Armor of God Bible study on having our feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. It discusses how we can have beautiful feet by sharing the gospel. It defines the good news of the gospel as being Jesus' completed work of reconciling us back to God through His death, burial, and resurrection. We need to know what we believe and why, and always be prepared to give an answer for the hope that is in us.

In line with preparing our feet, look at the soccer cleats in this photo.  Those are probably the best modern-day example of what the Roman soldiers wore as sandals with cleats to help them stand fast in battle.  We need to be rooted in the Word to help us remain steady in spiritual battles.  Also, this is a great picture because you see the athlete advancing down the field.  We are not only to stand strong, but to advance the truth of the gospel wherever our feet take us. 

I pray you will diligently seek to know the gospel and clearly articulate the good news so you can share it with your neighbors and the nations as ministers of reconciliation.

This podcast covers Lesson Two of the Whole Armor of God Bible study on the belt of truth. It discusses how God's truth holds everything together because it never changes. The more we know the truths of God's Word, the better we can apply them in our lives with the help of the Holy Spirit. A few key Scripture references are John 14:6 and Psalm 119:160. The rest are found in the Bible study that will be published in God's timing. I hope to complete the podcasts before the study is published so they will be ready for groups to use.

This podcast discusses Lesson One of "The Whole Armor of God" Bible study on spiritual warfare.  This lesson covers an overview of spiritual warfare, lists several types of spiritual weapons, and explains how to use them.  Most of the scriptures referenced are included in the Bible study, which will be published soon.

For those who know me, you know how exciting it is that God is helping me podcast.  When the ladies in my Bible study agreed to be the test case last year, they encouraged me to podcast to supplement the lessons.  They said the lessons were great, but what I said enhanced the learning experience because as the author, I knew the points I wanted to emphasize.  Honestly, I disregarded them at first, thinking they were either flattering me or trying to make my life difficult since I am not technically savvy.  One night we had a guest, and when I mentioned podcasting, she agreed heartily.  Hearing it from someone outside my normal circle of friends let me know God wanted me to pursue podcasting. 

Fast forward ten months, and my first podcast is ready.  It has been a battle mentally and technologically, but it adds to the beauty because I know it was God and not me that got this done.  Praise the Lord for His great grace towards me. I pray this blesses you, and that God speaks to you as the listener to understand spiritual warfare and how to fight.
